Daniel Shinaver M.H.R.M., B.B.A. is a Disabled Veteran and Former United States Marine who served from 1995 until 1999. After the United States Marine Corps he came home to recover from his injuries. During this time he went on to work in the non-profit world as an Employment Developer for 12 years serving the greater Lansing Area. While working as an Employment Developer he achieved his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and his Master’s in Human Resources Management.
Working in the non-profit sector he specialized in assisting homeless individuals with finding gainful employment, homeless Veterans with finding stable housing and the long-term incarcerated with overcoming their barriers and finding a career pathway.
It was while working with these target populations that the idea was formed to create his own employment development and placement services business. Eventually as his non-profit contract came to an end that is exactly what happened and that is where he is at today.
Working as a small business owner he also contracts with the Michigan Department of Veteran’s Affairs as a Buddy 2 Buddy Community Coordinator in the Ingham, Eaton and Clinton County areas where he assists local Veterans with accessing resources and information. Additionally, he contracts with the Trade Network helping to show small businesses the value of joining a trade organization specializing in barter services.
To date he focuses on treating employers and employees fairly with Recruitment Coaching and Retention, Personal and Social Development and Employee Placement while striving to fulfill his motto of: "Be helpful to be helpful".
