My Story
A little about Daniel
Daniel Shinaver M.H.R.M., B.B.A., a disabled United States Marine Veteran, has navigated a path paved with challenge and triumph. His unwavering spirit forged in the crucible of service from 1995 to 1999, Shinaver emerged from the service with scars that hinted at a deeper resilience.
Returning home, he embarked on a journey of healing and self-discovery. With a fervent determination to uplift those on the fringes of society, Shinaver immersed himself in the non-profit world, dedicating 12 years as an Employment Developer serving the greater Lansing Area.
His mission then?
To empower the homeless, Veterans, and the long-term incarcerated, guiding them through the labyrinth of employment barriers and illuminating pathways to sustainable careers.
Undeterred by obstacles, Shinaver pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's in Human Resources Management. These accomplishments not only bolstered his expertise but also fueled his passion for creating meaningful change.
It was through his encounters with those on the margins that the seed of an ambitious vision took root – a vision to forge his own employment development and placement services business. As his non-profit contract neared its end, Shinaver fearlessly embraced entrepreneurship, birthing a venture that would become the embodiment of his life's mission.
Current MIssion?
Today, as a small business owner, Shinaver's influence extends far beyond the confines of his enterprise. He collaborates with the Michigan Department of Veteran's Affairs as a Buddy 2 Buddy Community Coordinator, serving as a beacon of mentorship support for Veterans, facilitating access to essential resources and information.
Simultaneously, Shinaver partners with the Trade Network, championing the value of trade organizations and barter services for small businesses, fostering economic growth and community interconnectedness.
At the core of Shinaver's endeavors lies a steadfast commitment to fairness, as he navigates the realms of Recruitment Coaching and Retention, Personal and Social Development, and Employee Placement. His motto, "Be helpful to be helpful," resonates as a clarion call, inspiring others to embrace empathy and service as guiding principles.
